NOODS: Operator Store Submission
Submission To-Do List
So you want to make and share an Operator- that’s awesome! Before you export to the Steam Store, check the list below to make sure you’re ready to upload.
- Check your Operator is complete. Are all the files there? Are animations behaving properly? Did you replace any placeholders with real art and files?
- Test your Operator in NOODS. Make sure it behaves like you expect and that everything looks good in-game.
- Fill out all Store listing details, running them through spellcheck. A good looking description and easy-to-read text make an Operator’s listing more appealing.
- If you’re selling your Operator, complete the three items in “Valve Agreement and Steam Payments Set-ups” (https://glossbird.com/noods-maker-wiki/valve-payments/). If someone buys your Operator, you don’t want the profits to end up in Limbo!
- After submitting your Operator for review, share the good news! Link people to your item page! Show off all your hard work!
Note you can only submit your Operator for review once, multiple submissions of the same Operator will count as spam. Double check there are no mistakes!
Operator Store Listing Guidelines
Below are the fields and information that will be displayed on your Operator’s Store listing.
Making these as clear, descriptive, and well-written as possible will greatly improve their chances of being accepted and/or downloaded. You can write and edit your longer text in a word processor with spellcheck and grammar check before copy-pasting into NOODS Maker.
- Operator Name: What’s your Operator called?
- Operator Icon and additional images: Show your Operator in action, or pick a nice frame from their files.
- Creator/Credit: Autofilled from your Steam username
- Bio/Description: Tell the world a little about your Operator- give them some context and flavor!
- Personality: This is generated from personality/behavior sliders and cannot be edited directly, so users know what kind of Operator they are getting.
- Tags: Tags help users filter for specific types of Operators. Select as many as possible that are applicable for your Operator from the Create page.
- Suggested USD price: This is the total price displayed on the store, and your revenue share will be as described in our Terms of Service. Accepted items are typically priced between $1.99 and $9.99
