NOODS – Niche Operators Orchestrating Desktop Shenanigans – is an app that brings a virtual companion (Operator) to your PC’s desktop to help you stay organized and focused on your day-to-day tasks. Operators can come in many forms but are essentially a blend of Clippy and Tamagotchi, albeit far more useful, and, occasionally, a touch more mischievous.
NOODS includes a suite of productivity tools like to-do lists, timers (including a Pomodoro setting), and screenshot capabilities. You won’t get away with slacking on your Operator’s watch- they’ve been known to call out distracted users or even steal a window… or worse! But at the end of the day, they get the job done.
